Measure Me

Start at the smallest point of your waist this time, often where the ribs end. 

Make sure you are using a soft tape measure, so it moulds to your hips accurately. 

If you can, use a mirror to make sure the tape stays level. 

Using one hand, hold the beginning of the tape measure at the centre front of your body. 

Gently guide the other end of the tape around your body, checking the mirror as you go to insure you don’t have any gape. Meet the ends together, at your starting point.

Read the inches and there you are! 

Start by finding the widest point on your hips (where your buttocks shaping begins). 

Make sure you are using a soft tape measure, so it moulds to your hips accurately.

Gently guide the other end of the tape around your body, checking the mirror as you go to insure you don’t have any gape. Meet the ends together, at your starting point.

Read the inches and there you are! 

This one is slightly tricky so if you can grab a helper to hold the tape for you that helps!

Start by finding the fullest part of your chest, often over the nipple is a good mark. 

Hold the tape measure beginning in the centre of this spot. 

Then wrap the tape measure around your body so the end meets the beginning. 

Take a deep breath in and out, and read the measurement once you’ve exhaled to ensure you can breathe comfortably in the piece. 

Tape measure at the ready! Start by making sure the pants are on a flat surface if attempting this not on the body. 

Then lay the beginning of the tape measure at the seam of the crotch, where one leg meets the other.

Gently guide the tape down the seam of one of the legs, making sure it stays straight and keeping it as close as you can to its edge. 

Once you’ve reached the bottom of the pants (including any hem), read the inch number and you have your perfect fit.
