Shipping policy
1. Order Confirmation
By accepting these terms and conditions, upon confirmation of the customer’s order, a written and binding agreement is entered between the customer and KARLAIDLAW. Once an order is completed on karlaidlaw.com, the customer will automatically receive a confirmation of the purchase.
2. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, PayPal, and AfterPay.
When paying by debit or credit card, you will need to enter your full card details. For some transactions, you may also be required to complete 3D Secure verification by entering a security code.
All payments are processed securely using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, which protects your information from unauthorized access. KARLAIDLAW does not store your credit card details after your transaction is completed.
For customers based in Australia, all prices include GST.
Prices shown do not include shipping costs or any additional services, which will be added at checkout where applicable.
All prices on karlaidlaw.com are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
KARLAIDLAW reserves the right to change prices at any time.
3. Local Levies / Taxes & Duties
Local import charges (customs duty, sales tax, etc.) can occur depending on the customer’s region and local customs legislation. These charges are at the customer’s own expense.
4. Shipping
All orders are shipped through our trusted shipping partners.
Australian Orders
All Australian orders are delivered via Australia Post (AUSPOST).
International Orders
International customers can choose between AUSPOST Standard & Express or DHL International Express at checkout. We are unable to make exceptions to these shipping options.
All orders are insured, and tracking information will be provided via SMS and/or email once your order has been dispatched.
All orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days.
Delivery timeframes below apply once your order has been dispatched and is in transit with the selected shipping carrier:
Shipping Timeframes
- Australia: 1–4 business days
- International: 6–10 business days
Please note that these timeframes are estimates only. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and customs processing. KARLAIDLAW is not responsible for delays caused by customs or international shipping processes.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order. Costs may vary by country. For orders containing multiple items, KARLAIDLAW reserves the right to request additional shipping fees if required.

Important Shipping Information
- We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses.
- Once your order has been dispatched and tracking details have been provided, KARLAIDLAW is not responsible for lost, missing, or delayed parcels.
- If your parcel is missing, please contact us and we will assist by lodging an investigation with the shipping provider where possible.
Transit Issues
KARLAIDLAW does not offer refunds for parcels that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.
5. Warranty & Repairs
All KARLAIDLAW products are covered by a two (2) year warranty from the date you receive your order.
This warranty covers manufacturing and material faults, including defects in workmanship or production.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse
- Improper care or handling
If you notice a fault, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue. Notifications made within two (2) months of identifying a fault will be considered reasonable.
If your warranty claim is approved, reasonable return shipping costs will be reimbursed.

6. Returns
Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit
At KARLAIDLAW, we aim to reduce unnecessary shipping due to environmental concerns. Please carefully consider your purchase, including sizing and product details, before completing your order.
We do not offer refunds for online or in-store purchases. However, we do accept exchanges or store credit, subject to the conditions below.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for an exchange or store credit:
- Items must be unworn, with original tags attached
- Items must be returned in the same condition they were received
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of the purchase date
- Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged
- Items that have been custom hemmed are not eligible for exchange or return
Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, as return labels are not provided.
How to Return an Item
- Email shop@karlaidlaw.com with your Order Number in the subject line.
- Indicate whether you would like an Exchange or Store Credit.
- Our team will provide the return address and further instructions.
- Once your item is received and approved, we will contact you regarding additional shipping costs for sending your replacement item. Your new item will be shipped once this payment is completed.
Please choose carefully before purchasing, as refunds are not available for online or in-store purchases.
